SEGC has a Hound Hikers program that meets on the second Saturday of each month with our hounds for a group walk/hike. For each of our excursions, please provide plenty of water, snacks, and poop bags or your pups. Please RSVP to Tina Klein at 404-509-4913 or at tkath1ete@yahoo.com.
Due to heat and orange "Smog" alerts during the months of June, July, August, we've taken extra precautionary measures to protect our wonderful hounds from heat exhaustion, dehydration, etc., therefore, Hound Hikers will resume on September 13 at Stone Mountain. We will meet at 10 a.m. at the Visitor's Entrance area into Stone Mountain Park. Parking entrance is $8 per vehicle unless you have an annual parking pass to Stone Mountain.
