Change and Stamps for the Hounds

Change for the Hounds

Look around your home, your car, your office -- well -- you get the idea. How much spare change do you leave lying around or collect in various places? We have an opportunity to use that change to change lives for Greyhounds.

We are challenging each of our members to start saving your spare change for the hounds. We will collect it at Greyfest on Saturday, May 4. Here are some ways you can help:

We will collect the change at Greyfest. Once we have a grand total We will publish how much we raised. Proceeds will go to help provide food and medical care for hounds awaiting their forever home. Start cleaning out those car ashtrays, desk drawers and look under your sofa cushions today. You never know what you will find. See how much change you can collect between now and May 5!

Stamps for the Hounds - Hounds of 2019 Campaign

The response to our Hounds of 2018 Campaign was outstanding. We appreciate your generosity. The main expense for the campaign is postage to mail the over 1,100 letters to our supporters. The more stamps that are donated, the more funds can go straight to the hounds. In preparation for the Hounds of 2019 campaign we would like to collect all the postage in advance of the campaign so we can use more of the funds for the hounds.

You can help by bringing a book of "forever" stamps to Greyfest. We would prefer the flag ones so we are consistent. They need to be "forever" in case there is a change in postage between now and the time we mail letters later this year. If you want an "in kind" donation receipt, please put the book of stamps in an envelope with your contact information so we can provide you with a receipt.

If you have questions, please contact Lisa Strickland.
