"MURPHY"
(November 2000 - August 2005)

Murphy was a special greyhound. Never did he see a day on the track, but he was the king of our backyard track and our house! We watched Murphy evolve from a shoe chewing young greyhound to a tender loving adolescent greyhound who never minded when our toddler Lindsay crawled into the crate to hang out with her favorite greyhound! They had such a special bond; his spirit is still with us; Lindsay tells us regularly, "Murphy, lives with Baby Jesus now!" Although our house is now quiet, our visiting relatives liked to hear Murphy "braying" and would often join in with him! We often wondered what the neighbors thought! Murphy left us way too soon; cancer took him away from us, but one never knew how much pain he was in because his attitude and spirit was always loving and strong. Even in his last days, he was so loving and gentle, especially with Lindsay. Murphy, we love you and miss you!
