ADOPTABLE GREYHOUNDS
SEGA currently receives most of its adoptable Greyhounds via the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust, Greyhound Racing New South Wales (Australia) or Greyhound Pets of America. American racing Greyhounds become available in very rare cases, especially since the 2020 closure of Florida Greyhound tracks. Potential adopters are encouraged to submit their applications but also be prepared for longer than normal wait times for an adoption.
We currently have 6 hounds available for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting one of our Greyhounds into a forever home, please read about the adoption process before inquiring about an adoptable Greyhound. We cannot arrange a meeting until you have read about the process and your application has been approved.
The non-refundable adoption fee is:

Arriving soon! This BIG, handsome Irish boy (87 lbs!) is reported to be confident when out and about, with no concern for traffic noises. He is a little strong on the lead at first, but he soon settles. He can become a little stressed in new situations but soon relaxes with calm leadership from his humans. He is amazing with dogs both large and small. He is great with children above toddler age. This Irish lad would love to have his very own fenced yard for active play.

Arriving Soon! Advance word from the Irish is that Bruce is a happy, confident, and playful boy. He can be strong on lead at first but soon settles. He absolutely loves to play and would be best suited to an energetic family who will spend time playing with him in his very own fenced yard, where he can also run Zoomies to his heart's content. He is good with children but is better suited to older children. He gets along with dogs both large and small. After plenty of exercise in his fenced yard, he'll love nothing better than taking a long snooze on his favorite bed. Bruce will make a lovely pet for an active family.

Arriving soon! Advance word from our Irish friends is that Frank is a loving and relaxed boy who walks great on lead while out and about and takes traffic noises in stride. He is good with children and is great with both large and small dogs. Frank even tested as cat tolerant. The only creature he does not care for is horses -- he will bark at them! He is a simple and easy boy who loves his creature comforts and should transition quickly into home life.

He is good with children and with dogs large and small. He loves his comforts and will make a lovely pet once he settles in with a family who can show him the ropes of home life.
