Tiny is an easy, loving girl who can be a bit shy meeting new people, but she will warm up with gentle leadership. She is amazing with all dogs, big or small, and is cat friendly. Tiny would love her new family to live in a quieter area, as she does not like loud traffic coming up behind her, but oddly enough, she wasn't at all phased by the noise of a fender-bender that occurred during one of her walks! Leash walks casually encountering various people and friendly dogs --even at a slight distance -- would bolster her confidence. Once her family gives her the time to settle in, and she’ll make the most amazing pet.

Monty is a lovely, sweet, very funny boy. He’s confident and knows his own mind. Monty is always happy to see you and meet you with a waggly tail; he’s super with the vacuum, loud noises, traffic etc. He loves being pampered and groomed and adores being the centre of attention. Monty is great with all dogs, big or small, and is cat friendly. He would love a family with a fenced yard for romping. He prefers to go on shorter walks and will tell you when he's had enough, so if you like quick neighborhood jaunts, your lifestyles will mesh.

Pickle is an all around good boy who is great with small dogs and cats. He loves his crate and views it as his safe space. After some initial kennel exploration, he went right into an open crate and settled down to observe the world. He even brought a toy into his crate for company. He loves to stop to smell the roses while leash walking, but his leash manners are otherwise quite good. You won't find yourself in a pickle with this hound!

Our Irish friends have told us that Gale is a very sweet soul who loves to be part of whatever is happening. You’re sitting having coffee? Perfect, that’s her favourite! You’re off on a walk? Perfect, that’s her favourite! You’re having a group of people over? Perfect, she loves people! She is an adaptable beautiful soul who is happy to be included. Gale is very patient and good with children and all breeds of dog, including smalls. She takes everything in her stride and is cat friendly. Gale would make a very easy addition to any home and fill that home with love!

Trixie is a sweet hound who likes to take her time assessing people and her environment. She walks nicely on lead, but she is very happy to return to her familiar surroundings. She crates beautifully and views the crate as her safe space, so a crate near the rest of her family is essential for this girl. Once she warms up to you, she will bond quickly, so adopters will need to be sure to practice away training to prevent separation anxiety. She is a gentle girl who would appreciate a quiet home.

Jack is a nice easy dog who is very ready for the retired life. He loves his crate, and when presented with a toy he immediately took it in with him. He is quite an exuberant fan of squeaky toys, so training him to "trade" or "drop it" is highly suggested. He is food motivated, so training in general should be fun and rewarding for both hound and humans. He walks nicely on lead and is incredibly friendly. His walks take a little longer than planned as he loves to stop for pats and never grows tired of hearing how handsome he is. He hasn’t been exposed to small dogs, but he is very good around medium and large breeds, and he doesn’t react when passing them on the lead. Jack is a sweet soul and would fit in well with any home.
