ADOPTABLE GREYHOUNDS
SEGA currently receives most of its adoptable Greyhounds via the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust, Greyhound Racing New South Wales (Australia) or Greyhound Pets of America. American racing Greyhounds become available in very rare cases, especially since the 2020 closure of Florida Greyhound tracks. Potential adopters are encouraged to submit their applications but also be prepared for longer than normal wait times for an adoption.
We currently have 5 hounds available for adoption.

Larry can be a bit unsure about new situations such as slick floors, but quiet, confident human leadership reassures him, and follows right along. Overall, he is a cheery chap. He would be happy to share with other canine companions. This sweet boy will win you over with his easy-going charm!

Joe is an easy going and relaxed hound, but don't let his age fool you . . . there is plenty of pep in his step! He enjoys a spin in the car and loves going on walks – he walks very nicely on the lead. Small dog friendly, he also basks in the attention of all the people he meets along his jaunts. He will make a fine addition to his new home, whether for long walks, playing in the garden, or snuggling in a comfy dog bed near the family.
