ADOPTABLE GREYHOUNDS
SEGA currently receives most of its adoptable Greyhounds via the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust, Greyhound Racing New South Wales (Australia) or Greyhound Pets of America. American racing Greyhounds become available in very rare cases, especially since the 2020 closure of Florida Greyhound tracks. Potential adopters are encouraged to submit their applications but also be prepared for longer than normal wait times for an adoption.
We currently have 10 hounds available for adoption.

Bernie has shown lovely manners around small dogs, interacting politely and respectfully, so he might enjoy having a canine companion in his new family. He has not been around many children, but older children who allow him time and patience to settle in would be acceptable. He will thrive in a loving home where he can continue to build his confidence. This handsome fellow loves chasing a tennis ball and is one of those rare Greyhounds who will bring it right back to you time and time again!

Robyn is a curious and happy girl who has lived in a home environment and is ready to find a family of her own. She has lived with French Bulldogs and can happily coexist with other dogs. She loves playing with toys, and she especially enjoys chasing a tennis ball in the yard, so a home with a fence would suit her best. She is very food motivated, so training would be an enjoyable and rewarding activity for Robyn and her new family.

Bo is a handsome boy who is happy and playful. He is very excited about toys, so we do not recommend a home with small children.
