2023 Fullerton Cup
PROGRAM / ENTRY FORM
DETAILS
The SEGC will host the 27th running of the Fullerton Cup lure coursing trial on Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5 at Bouckaert Farm, home of Chattahoochee Hills Eventing, near Fairburn.
Each morning, around 10am, the first runners will take to the field and run the courses. Around midday, we’ll take a short break and have a boxed lunch for sale (first come, first served). Boxed lunches are $5 each. Proceeds will benefit SEGA, our Greyhound adoption program.
After lunch, we’ll start our final rounds of lure coursing and find out who will go home with the day’s trophy and ribbons. A short awards ceremony and photos will follow the competition.
After the lure coursing competition is complete, we will hold fun runs on the drag lure for anyone who wants to let their Greyhound enjoy the thrill of the chase — they can run just a straight, or a partial course.
PLEASE bring cash for the fun run fee — $5 for each Greyhound run.
Our schedule at the field is ALWAYS variable — clear your calendar, bring a folding chair, and plan to spend a day in the country with the Southeastern Greyhound Club!
